Many college students say that they are facing so many pressures in their lives. They have to study hard to become top students, they have to pass this or that kind of tests, and they worry about the fierce competition of job-hunting and future career. So they lose their sleep, have headache, feel tired all day long, and they cannot concentrate on their studies. Too much pressure leads to many psychological problems such as anxiety, depression and even despair. So it is harmful to their well-being.
In order to work off the pressures, I think we should learn how to regulate our feelings and emotions under different situations, how to relax ourselves when we are under great pressure, and how to come to terms with ourselves and the world around us. I suggest universities and colleges should establish more courses which are helpful for students¡¯ psychological health.
