It is not uncommon for college students to have their romantic affairs, but it is still a controversial issue as to whether or not it is suitable for them. One the one hand, dating on campus may do some good to students. They can encourage each other in their study and support each other while in trouble. And being in love may not mean poor grades. But on the other hand, we know students’ main task is to study, but love is time and energy consuming and distracts students from their main task. They may neglect their study and lag behind their classmates.

In my opinion, what matters is how college students cope with the relationship between love and learning. As long as they do not indulge themselves too deeply in love, and take love as a drive, they will make more progress in study.
