For me, and also for most of college students, dormitory life is a new experience. I have never lived away from our parents before coming to the university. When I arrive at university, my life begin to change. I cannot always depend on my parents’ advice and guidance. In the morning, I must depend on myself to get up on time for class. I should keep my clothes clean by myself. I should find a place for everything.

Dormitory rooms are small and crowded, and this lack of space can limit our capacity and make it difficult for us to concentrate on studies. What’s more, we may come from different parts of our country, so we have differences and disagreements in opinions and life styles. We have to learn to get on well with each other. We should treat each other as a member of a family. We should help each other when anyone is in trouble. If we have a quarrel or different opinions on something, we should manage to solve it and clear the misunderstanding.
