College is a new and different experience for me. I’m away from home, so I have many things to adapt to. Living at college, first of all, gives me a sense of being on my own. Everything I do has to be my decision, and I handle my own life. I feel independent. Another aspect I like about college is to meet so many friendly people and classmates. I feel comfortable in the dorm because there are friendly roommates around to talk with. What’s more, I have more freedom in dealing with my study. I can not only select my favorite courses but also choose my favorite teacher as well. The courses taught at college are often more academic and more challenging. Finally, we always have some interesting entertainments on weekends: going to cinema, surfing on Internet, going shopping, and taking part in dance party. I like this new experience, busy but full of joy.
