In my opinion, the net bars have more disadvantages than advantages to the young people. Some people may argue that net bars may let the young people know about the development of high technology, learn knowledge, get information about the world, get entertainment, and make friends. To some extent it may be true, but as long as people get the real experience in a net bar, they surely will think differently.

The bosses only provide cheap computers to allow students to play PC games, to chat or surf ?on limited websites. In those cheaply decorated stuffy rooms, you can’t really appreciate the convenience and wonders brought to us by high technology. It is a place where the boss makes money from the innocent students.

I think it only a waste of money, time and energy. Once entering the net bars, many students will forget time, homework, meals and even themselves. Many students get lost on the net and can’t come back to realistic life. They chat with unknown but “intimate” persons, or play meaningless and also endless games. They are easily addicted to this virtual world. They may escape the realistic world and become isolated from the people and the world around them. Going to net bars frequently may also do harm to their mental and physical health, may distort their character and finally bring danger to them.
